Tom Martin started in the furniture business in 1950 after his father opened a store in East Peoria. With many years of experiece, he decided to open a location in Normal Illinois to serve the Bloomington-Normal and surrounding areas. So in 1995 Martin's Home Furniture started. Tom and his son Brad worked together to design and deliver quality home furniture with much to same philosophy and products that had already proved successful.
