Submit a milestone announcement

You can submit a milestone announcement for your event either online or by mail. The following fees apply to announcement submissions:

  • Engagement: $25
  • Wedding: $30
  • Anniversary: $30
  • New birth: $15
  • Senior (85+) birthday: $15

When you purchase an engagement, wedding or anniversary announcement, you are also permitted five complimentary keepsake Pantagraphs, which may be picked up free of charge at The Pantagraph front desk (at 301 W. Washington St. in Bloomington) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays. These papers will be made available to you starting the Monday after the publication date and can be picked up while supplies last for a maximum of two weeks.

All announcement submissions are subject to editing for style and content. Your information and payment must be received by noon Monday for your announcement to be published in the following Sunday's paper. Publication dates, however, are subject to available space, so we cannot guarantee dates.

Submit your announcement online (recommended)

For fastest service and to save on postage, submit your announcement online. You can send us your announcement information, applicable digital photos, and payment all at the same time through the web. In order to use this option, you must pay by credit card using our secure online form. Our online credit card transactions are encrypted to protect your privacy.

Submit your announcement
by mail or in person

If you do not want to pay by credit card, you can download and then print out and mail in (or bring to The Pantagraph in person) a printed form, along with your photos and personal check, all in the same envelope.
