On the following pages, you'll be able to build your own ad, preview it, and pay for it online using a major credit card.

Before you begin, please read these tips:

• Ads placed after noon on Friday will not begin until Tuesday at the earliest. (See the deadline chart below.)

• The preview you will see of your ad is a close approximation of how the ad will appear in the newspaper. If the length of the ad will be shorter or longer in the final version that runs in the paper, then you will receive a call from a classified staff member before the ad runs.
  
  
• Your credit card transaction uses a secure form, so you can feel safe about using your credit card online.
  
  
• Please do not use abbreviations when composing the text of your ad.
  
  
• While creating your ad, the "back" button on your browser will not work. Instead, click the button that says "previous" if you want to go to a previous page. To completely start over, click "log off" in the left column.
  
  
• All ads are subject to approval by a classified staff member prior to publication.
  
  
• You always have the option to view the price and ad before paying for it.
  
  
• The charge on your credit card will appear as "Pantagraph Publishing Classifieds."
  
  
• Free ads are for private party merchandise under $500 only. No pets, vehicles, tickets, firearms or garage sales. Other restrictions apply. Limit 1 free ad per household per week.
  
  
• For best results, use Internet Explorer version 5 or later. If you experience problems using other browsers, using Internet Explorer may correct these problems.
  
  
• If you experience any problems using the online ad creator, call 309-820-2020. Also, please call us to cancel an ad if you want to end it before the scheduled termination date.
  
  
• Click the "Begin" button below to start creating your ad.
