Ethel B. Keller
EUREKA -- Ethel B. Keller, 96, of Eureka died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 17, 2005) at Roanoke Apostolic Christian Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Olio Township Cemetery, Eureka. The Rev. Richard P. Richards will officiate. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka, is handling arrangements.
Ethel was born Dec. 17, 1909, at Lincoln, a daughter of Hugh and Nellie Mischler Sumner. She married John D. Keller Jr. on Jan. 28, 1928, at Eureka. He died May 10, 1982.
Survivors include one son, John "Jack" (Nancy) Keller III, Eureka; two sisters, Irma Bowen, Sarasota, Fla., and Dorothy Eastman, Wyoming, Minn.; four grandchildren, Eugenia (Joe) Ehrlich and David (Molly) Wuethrich, both of Bloomington; Greg (Kim) Ring, Germantown, Tenn.; and John (Jessica) Keller IV, Rockton; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Wuethrich; three brothers and one sister.
Ethel was a member of the Eureka Christian Church, a charter member of the Eureka Women's Club, former member of the Eureka Drama Club and past state officer and grand lecturer of O.E.S. She was a bookkeeper for John Keller and Sons and Wood-Mar Construction in Eureka retiring in 1975 after 20 years of service.
