Hinsdale Central girls tennis wins state title

MOUNT PROSPECT -- Courtney Dolehide and Nida Hamilton captured the doubles crown to lead Hinsdale Central to the Girls State Tennis Tournament title Saturday.
Dolehide and Hamilton downed Nadia Zoubareva and Nicole Lipp of Lake Forest 7-6, 6-4 in the finals.
Hinsdale Central scored 43 points, while Deerfield took second with 34.
There was no area competitors left Saturday. Normal Community tied for 33rd with seven points, while Bloomington tied for 39th with six points and University High tied for 45th with five points.
Rachael White of Deerfield beat Elizabeth Epstein of Chicago Parker 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 to earn the singles title.
