Moser opening ISU basketball practice to public
NORMAL -- Illinois State men's basketball coach Porter Moser will open the Redbird Arena doors to the public Monday afternoon for the team's 3:30 p.m.
Moser will use the services of three Missouri Valley Conference officials to oversee situational scrimmages during the open practice.
“This will be good for our guys to see and play with league officials,” Moser said. “I want them to start getting a feel for an actual game. Plus, it’s just another opportunity for our fans to see us before our exhibition game.”
The Redbirds begin the season Nov. 1 when they host Missouri-St. Louis for an exhibition game at 7:05 p.m.
