BLOOMINGTON -- Bloomington PrairieThunder coach Derek Booth has announced a change in dates for the team’s initial free agent camp. The camp will be Sept. 21-23 at the Pepsi Ice Center, which is connected to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in downtown Bloomington.

Cost is $350 and includes hotel accommodations for three nights, three days of ice time and on-ice insurance. Times for the camp will be 8:30 to 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 21; 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 22; and 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 23.

“We were originally going to have the camp a few weeks earlier, but the feedback from the players who want to participate indicated a later date would work better for them,” said Booth.

“We’ve had a good response and spaces are limited, so players who want to participate should register as soon as possible.”

After coaching evaluations, a minimum of two players will be invited to attend the PrairieThunder’s main training camp in October. For questions or to register, contact Booth at derekbooth@uscellularcoliseum.com.
