" My family moved to this country in the late 1600's and I am unable to collect my social security due to a bill passed in 1983 under Regan(the Windfall Elimation Provision)or (WEP).there are teachers in 15 states,fireman&policeman through out the US and people who work for the railroad like myself.I had enough time under SS prior to hiring on the railroad in 1969.I was injured while working and put on disability(railroad disability).I am unable to collect my SS but only a small percentage not even enough to pay for my health insurance.There are millions of us all US citizens who can't collect there SS.This law(WEP)should be repealed before any consideration given to illegal immigrants.There have been laws in committe for years to repeal this law(HR-82&S-206)but no one will bring them up for vote.These bills have been in congress when both parties have been in power. "
