Fire damages door frame at Lee Street residence

BLOOMINGTON -- Fire did about $500 damage to the front door frame of a house at 1406 N. Lee St. late Monday morning.

Firefighters were called at 11:41 a.m. and used a small amount of water to extinguish the fire. Nobody was home and there were no injuries.

The cause remains under investigation. A fire department spokesman Monday afternoon did not have the name of the owner.
