Holiday Pool changes hours for season’s end
BLOOMINGTON — Holiday Pool will be open 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21-24 and 27-31. Regular hours of noon to 7 p.m. will be observed Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 2.
The last day of swimming for the season will be Sept. 3, when hours will be noon to 7 p.m.
‘People’s Law’ session looks at new business
BLOOMINGTON — Budding business owners can ask questions of local attorney John L. Pratt on Wednesday at the People’s Law School, a series of free classes offered on a variety of legal topics.
The session with Pratt will be in the Community Room of the Bloomington Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. Pratt will present information and answer questions on starting a small business.
The People’s Law School is sponsored by the McLean County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Topics previously covered in the series included bankruptcy and civil law.
