Timothy Hall, 42, a pedestrian struck by a car Friday on Veterans Parkway, then admitted to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center’s intensive care unit, improved overnight and was released from the Bloomington hospital Saturday.
Police said the 9:20 p.m. accident happened along northbound Veterans Parkway, near the Eastland Drive intersection.
Nicholas Zimmenal, 19, of Bloomington, was driving his Acura Integra north on Veterans Parkway when Hall attempted to cross the street near the Eastland Drive intersection, police said.
Zimmenal was not issued a citation. No address was available for Hall.
Three-car accident — Benjamin B. Delinsh, 18, of East Peoria was issued two tickets late Friday night after failing to stop at a red light on East Empire Street in Bloomington and then hitting two other vehicles.
Delinsh’s Chevy S10 first hit the car driven by Jeffrey J. Saad of Wenona, and then the car of Fernando Alvarez of Bloomington.
I-55 crash — Illinois State Police identified Lawrence Mullholland, 43, of Normal as the person injured at 5:25 p.m. Friday in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 55 at the southbound Towanda exit.
He was taken to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, where he was treated and released.
