Wes Steidinger wins late model race at Fairbury

Wes Steidinger of Fairbury captured the late model feature checkered flag for the second straight week and fifth time this season Saturday night at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway.
Daren Friedman of Forrest placed second and claimed the season points championship. Kevin Weaver of Gibson City followed in third, George Scheffler of Waukesha, Wis. was fourth and Ryan Dauber of Tonica was fifth.
Other feature winners were McKay Wenger of Fairbury (modified) and Joel Funk of Dwight (sportsman)
