Men’s basketball coach Tim Jankovich said ISU players took their physicals Monday on the first day of classes and will begin individual workouts today.

Coaches are allowed to work in groups of no more than four at a time for two hours per week. Jankovich said the coaching staff will work with players three times a week for 40 minutes. Beginning Sept. 15, coaches can work with as big as group as they want, also for two hours per week.

Jankovich said players will begin lifting weights and conditioning four days per week starting next week. In late September, Jankovich will begin a two-week conditioning “boot camp” that will conclude a week before practice officially begins Oct. 13.

" At a minimum Levi Dyer won't be participating in these early workouts. He should be sat down for at least 2 games, to make a point that may save his life. "
