BLOOMINGTON — After falling behind in the second minute 1-0, the Central Catholic boys soccer team scored seven unanswered goals to top Calvary Baptist, 7-1, on Friday night at the Prairie City Soccer League Field.
The Saints (2-0) got four goals from freshman Hayden Hoerdemann.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Saints coach Patric Molinari said.
Hoerdemann got the Saints on the board with the game-tying goal in the 23rd minute. Hoerdemann also scored the team’s final three goals of the match.
