Chiefs start home stand with win over Beloit

Robert Hernandez tossed six innings and struck out a career-high nine while the bullpen provided three innings of shutout work to give the Chiefs a 4-2 win over the Beloit Snappers at O’Brien Field on Friday night in Peoria.

Hernandez allowed two runs on six hits and struck out the final three batters he faced.
