" Morris has traditionally played in the same state playoff brackets as New Lenox and Joliet Catholic...please check your facts! Morris has 3 State Football titles...www.morrisredskinsfootball.com 1980 3A 1984 4A 2005 6A If any public school in Illinois has the right to complain about the Catholic schools it's Morris...again, go check your facts! "

" the raiders arent even goin to come close to us this year because they lost their best receivers and we are goin to stop darrelyn just like we stopped leshoure last year and kennedy is goin to run all over your horrible defense hey raider fans have fun watchin your team get dominated by normal on friday ITS NOT GOING TO BE CLOSE AT ALL "

" new lenox prov. has 22 state footballs title appearances with 9 wins. mt carmel has 10 wins, and joliet catholic has 12 wins....morris has 8 total appearances, not wins "

" The Morris team Normal lost to in the 2005 6A title game had an offensive line that averaged 6'3" 263lbs. Look up all the teams BHS lost to in their state championship games. Not one even came close to the size Morris had up front. Not to mention that Morris is one of the more recongized public schools in Illinois State football history. Morris has been to 8 state title games in their school history. "

" you guys beat a sophmore qb and a team making their 1st champ game by 10 points. we lost to three loaded teams how many d-1 players were on that batava team since they were sooo good with that 5 seed cary grove wouldve murdered you guys "

Football Guy wrote on Aug 27, 2007 4:23 PM:

" Who's to say Normal couldn't have beat those teams? I can tell you that Normal's defense was better than any of those Bloomington defenses that went to state. I'm pretty sure that Normal could've beaten that Mundelein Carmel team in 2003. Bloomington just had no defense. Look at you Blooomington people...all those years of dominance....now it's a little hard to swallow. "

Football Guy wrote on Aug 27, 2007 3:29 PM:

" of course we are jealous you guys won state, but when you guys diss our inability to beat national powerhouses in 4 straight title games there is a problem "

bhs senior wrote on Aug 27, 2007 3:23 PM:

" I like how all of the normal people just keep saying all the bloomington people are jealous just because nchs won the state championship. lets compare the records of bloomington and normal community. who the hell is batavia? Bloomington has had to play NFL recruiting schools ever since they have been goin to the state championship, and lets see what school has gone to the playoffs for the last 20 going on 21 years in a row...no not Normal. GO RAIDERS! "

Football Guy wrote on Aug 27, 2007 2:20 PM:

" It sounds like the Bloomington people are a little jealous about the State Championship on the other side of town. All of your excuses add up to same amount of football titles you have - 0. "

bhs wrote on Aug 27, 2007 1:20 PM:

" nchs plays batavia, i didnt know they existed until normal played them. we played nationally ranked new lenox providence and mount carmel. normal wins state when the multiplier rule comes into effect. weve been to the playoffs 20 years in a row the longest streak in the area. we will win intercity "

To To NCHS Grad: wrote on Aug 27, 2007 10:21 AM:

" You are right. NCHS wouldn't have beaten those teams either. No disrespect to Normal, they had a great team last year. Those schools recruit people from all over not just within their boundaries. No disrespect to CCHS, but that's what helped them win their titles as well. That's what caused the restructuring of the class system in Illinois High School football, to make it a little fairer for everyone. If you look at all the state title games involving these private schools prior to the class changes, you'll probably find that they won the majority of the time. "

" I remember last year. I remember a huge pass play that the Ref called back for offensive pass interference that was a close call. To check the math/ When BHS played in the state finals we had to play the best teams in state. Not just the best in our division. We played Juggernaut teams Like St. Rita, Mt, Carmel, New Lenox Providnce, and Mundeline Carmel. Notice all private Catholic schools that recruit. Nchs played nobody in Morris that now plays 5a and in a 4a conference and Batavia. A school that no one has heard of. Grow up NCHS fans. You guys had a good team with pro coaches. Like Terry Mccombs who coaches the Extreme. Or John Macintyre who won 2 State Championships with Central Catholic. "
