Milford handles Tri-Point

Justin Garrelts threw two touchdown passes and ran for another as Milford rallied for a season-opening nonconference victory over Tri-Point at Milford on Friday night.

Tri-Point took an 8-6 lead midway through the third quarter on a 14-yard TD run by Colin Davis, who also ran for the two-point conversion.

Milford regained the lead late in the third quarter on a 17-yard run by Garrelts, who threw a 17-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
