Mount Zion holds on against Lincoln

For Lincoln, outscoring Mount Zion 14-0 in the fourth quarter was not enough as the Railsplitters fell in their season opener.

Lincoln got on the board first with a 1-yard run from Jacob Harnacke in the first quarter to take a 6-0 lead. Mount Zion then scored 35 unanswered points, the last of which came on a 4-yard run by Eric Walters.

Quarterback Jordan Grinestaff completed 10 of 13 passes for 176 yards for Mount Zion. For Lincoln, Kyle Frick caught two balls for 73 yards.
