Bag of cash stolen
from restaurant
NORMAL — A bag containing more than $1,400 in cash was reported stolen at 1:30 p.m Saturday from Arby’s Roast Beef Restaurant. 610 Raab Road, a Normal police report said. The money was intended to be a night deposit from the restaurant, police said.
Vehicular theft — A 2000 Toyota 4Runner was reported stolen from a driveway on Striegel Court sometime late Friday or early Saturday, a Normal police report said. The keys were apparently left somewhere in the vehicle, police said.
Theft — Apple iPods were reported stolen from three vehicles in the 700 block of Kingsley Street about 3 a.m. Friday, a Normal police report said. A side window was broken on the one of the vehicles to gain entry, police said. The iPods were estimated by the police to be worth about $150.
Theft — A yellow and white Fuji mountain bike and a bag containing a helmet and other accessories were reported stolen about 7:30 a.m. Friday from a residence in the 1100 block of Liberty Road, Normal police said. The bike was valued at $400. and the bag and contents over $1,000, police said.
