Friedman distances field to win at Lincoln

LINCOLN — Daren Friedman of Forrest pulled away from the pack at the halfway point of the race to claim the late model feature Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway.

Following Friedman to the finish line were Matt Taylor of Springfield, Scott Bull of Fairbury, Eric Smith of Shirley and Derek Chandler of Pontiac.

Other feature winners were Jeff Leka of Buffalo (modifieds), Billy Nail of Decatur (sportsman), Travis Johnson of Ashland (street stock) and Matt Turley of Dawson (hornets).
