NCHS volleyball wins its season opener

Normal Community had little trouble dispatching Joliet Township in its season opener, winning 25-17 and 25-10 in Joliet on Monday.

Taylor Caughlin and Jenny Menendez each had five kills, while Jackie and Vanessa Gerig finished with 10 assists apiece.
