OMAHA, Neb. -- Bloomington Extreme coach Ted Schmitz and Billings Outlaws coach Heron O’Neal were named head coaches for the United Indoor Football All-Star game Aug. 18 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.

Schmitz guided the Extreme to 9-8 record and a berth in the Eastern Conference championship game. O’Neal led the Outlaws to a 9-7 mark and fell to the eventual UIF champion Sioux Falls Storm in the Western Conference title game.

“We’re looking forward to this one and we’re going to play to win,” Schmitz said. “It should be a great game and a great week.”

In their only head-to-head matchup of the season, Schmitz’s Extreme defeated Billings, 49-31, on July 7 in Bloomington.
