Jordan Bond had seven kills and seven digs while Maggie Bee handed out eight assists for the Pioneers. Olympia upends Mount Pulaski Elizabeth Alberts had 10 service points and 10 assists to help Olympia beat Mount Pulaski, 25-20, 25-23 in a nonconference match at Mount Pulaski. Kelsy Heiser added five kills and Brittney Hendricks 28 digs for Olympia (1-1). Leading Mount Pulaski (0-2) was Haley Bowles with five kills and five digs, while Jeri Kaye Turner and Ellen Olson each had eight assists. Prairie Central falls to Herscher Shari Steidinger had eight service points, including three aces, but host Prairie Central dropped a 21-25, 25-21, 19-25 nonconference decision to Herscher. Kari Diller had eight assists and two kills for the Hawks (0-2) while Kenber Galloway chipped in five kills and five digs. Lexington drops Pontiac Lexington used a balanced attack to register a 25-14, 25-17 non-conference win over visiting Pontiac. Jenna Bean had 10 service points, Jessica Kraft had 10 assists and Maddie Myers added seven kills for Lexington (1-1). Loni Mackinson led Pontiac (0-2) with seven assists and five service points. Reiners leads Tri-Valley Lauryn Reiners registered 13 service points, eight kills and two blocks to lead Tri-Valley past PBL, 25-23, 25-23, in a non-conference match at Paxton. Catherine Ludwig handed out 15 assists for the Vikings (2-0) while Hannah Lessen added 18 digs. Jenna Seibring had nine service points, including three aces, and seven kills for PBL. Ridgeview beats Iroquois West Thanks to 12 assists and eight service points from Chelsea Tipsord, Ridgeview turned back Iroquois West 25-12, 25-16 in a nonconference match at Gilman. Ridgeview (2-1) also got 11 digs, six kills and five service points from Taylor Zimmerman, while Lauren Keller had five service points and 11 digs. Iroquois West fell to 0-2. Flanagan tips Roanoke-Benson Jessica Oester had 10 service points and seven assists to help Flanagan slip past Roanoke-Benson, 25-21, 25-23, in a nonconference match at Roanoke. Jackie Russow added seven kills for the Falcons (2-0), while Anna Delheimer had six assists and five service points and Taylor Wheat contributed three blocks. Roanoke-Benson’s Melissa Yount and Morgan Nenne combined for 17 service points and six aces. Kelsey Sauder put up eight blocks. EPG defeats Henry Mattie Fairchild handed out 13 assists as El Paso-Gridley notched a 25-16, 25-13 win over Henry in nonconference play at El Paso. Tamara Waugh had nine service points for EPG (2-0), while Janelle James recorded five kills and Marqui Fairchild added six digs. Duo paces Dee-Mack victory Haley Thurmond and Kate Poorbaugh paced Deer Creek-Mackinaw to a 25-12, 25-17 nonconference victory over Illini Bluffs. Thurmond had 10 kills, 10 service points and two blocks, while Poorbaugh contributed 19 assists and six digs for the Chiefs (2-0). Mahomet-Seymour prevails Daniella Bunch led the way with 14 kills and five blocks as Mahomet-Seymour earned a 18-25, 25-23, 25-21 nonconference victory over Champaign Central at Mahomet. The Bulldogs (2-0) also received nine service points from Jillian Ryan and 35 assists from Mel Weimer. Morgan leads LeRoy Jill Morgan contributed seven kills, seven service points and three blocks as host LeRoy upended Champaign Judah Christian, 25-20, 25-15, in a nonconference match.
