U High grad Pistorius an All-America pick

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — University High School graduate Ashlee Pistorius, a Texas A&M University senior, has been named to Soccer America’s Preseason All-America Team.

Pistorius is among seven forwards on the 23-player squad. She has 56 career goals to rank third in school history. She also has 23 career assists. She scored a team-high 15 goals last season including four game-winners.

The 5-foot-10 Bloomington resident led the nation in scoring as a freshman with 19 goals. She led the Big 12 Conference in scoring as a sophomore with 22 goals.
