Boys golf

-- Kyle English of University High fired a blistering 5-under-par 31 to power the Pioneers to an 8-under par 136 total to defeat Mahomet-Seymour, Central Catholic and Pontiac at the ISU Golf Course. Other U High counting scores were by Eric Meier (34), Sean Dozier (35) and Peter McKinzie (36).

-- Jeff Bragg fired a 1-under-par 35 to spark Normal West to a 196 total and a two-stroke victory over Pekin in a quadrangular meet at Lick Creek Golf Course in Pekin.

Girls golf

-- Normal West’s Kaitlin Reid shot a 2-over-par 38 to lead the Wildcats to a 176 total and victory over Springfield and Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin at Normal’s Ironwood Golf Course.

Boys soccer

-- Kevin Price scored two goals to lead Blue Ridge to a 2-2 tie against Tolono Unity at Tolono.
