Woodruff tops Streator

Mitch Hiddem tossed a 5-yard pass to Justin Chapin with 2:11 to lift Peoria Woodruff to a 20-14 nonconference win at Streator.
Woodruff (2-0) set the tone early when Hiddem hooked up with Walter Burns on a 73-yard TD pass just three minutes into the game.
After falling behind 12-7 going into the second quarter, Streator (0-2) took a 14-12 lead when Derek Schneeman scored on a 3-yard run. Dustin Moore scored on a 54-yard run for the Bulldogs late in the first quarter.
