U High sinks Saints in Intercity soccer tourney

Three different players scored two goals each for University High School in a 6-0 win over Central Catholic on Friday in the 11th annual Intercity Soccer Tournament at the Prairie Cities Soccer Complex in Bloomington.
The Pioneers remained unbeaten at 4-0 overall and 3-1 in the tournament. Central Catholic fell to 3-2-2, 1-2-1.
Midfielder E.J. Schiller took care of the scoring in the first half with his pair of goals. In the second half, forwards Stefan Brooks and Zach Wells each found the back of the net twice for U High.
