Titan volleyball drops pair

ELMHURST — Starting three sophomores and a freshman, the Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team dropped its first two matches of the season Friday at the Elmhurst College Tournament.

In the first match, the Titans fell to Wisconsin-Platteville, 30-20, 30-24, 30-25, before competing more closely in a second-match loss to Nebraska Wesleyan, 31-29, 30-26, 30-22.

Sophomore Emily Hagen led the Titans with 10 kills in the first match. Junior Michele Malinowski had 10 in the second.
