Flanagan powers past Dee-Mack

Senior Aaron Willis ran for 249 yards and two touchdowns as Flanagan (2-0, 2-0) pulled away in the second half to earn a 47-18 conference victory at Flanagan.

A 47-yard scoring run by Willis in the first quarter and a four-yard run by Cam Blossom in the second period gave Flanagan a slim 13-6 halftime advantage. The Falcons used a 21-point third quarter to boost the margin to 34-12. Willis scored from 21 yards out in the period.

Falcon quarterback David Harnish added a 3-yard scoring run and a 26-yard scoring toss to William Essman. Also scoring for the Falcons were James Allen on a 4-yard run and Kyle Depoister with a 34-yard scoring sprint.

Matt Taylor caught an 11-yard TD pass from Josh Frahm and scored on a 21-yard run for Deer Creek-Mackinaw (0-2, 0-1). Frahm also broke loose for a 72-yard TD in the third quarter.
