MONTREAL -- The University of Illinois men’s basketball team ended its Canadian Exhibition Tour with a record of 3-1 following Monday’s 107-103 double-overtime victory over McGill University.
Five Illini scored in double figures, led by Trent Meacham (20 points) and Steve Holdren (19). Calvin Brock and Shaun Pruitt each scored 12.
“I thought today we were more ready to play and played with emotion,” Illinois coach Bruce Weber said. “. . . It was fun, a very exciting game to play.”
