Out Loud: Eureka volleyball player sounds off on laundry, Cubs
EUREKA — Eureka High School volleyball player Courtney Martin has two unique characteristics. First, the junior setter spent the last three months folding laundry at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka. Plus, she is a Chicago Cubs fan.
When she is not folding laundry or rooting for the North Siders, Martin remains active as she also participates in basketball and softball for the Hornets.
Following a recent practice, the Pantagraph caught up with Martin, who hopes to major in science or music in college.
