In court

Meth — Richard Reeves, 41, of Hartford, Mich., was sentenced to one year in prison for possession of less than 15 grams of methamphetamine.

He was arrested during an Aug. 8 traffic stop after he initially gave police a false name, prosecutors said. The drugs were discovered by police during a search of Reeves’ vehicle.

Reeves also was ordered to pay a $100 street value fine and other costs. He was given credit for 30 days served in jail. A charge of obstruction of justice and several traffic matters were dismissed in the plea agreement with prosecutors.

Burglary — A 23-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a Bloomington Church in October 2006 and possessing a computer and video projector from the church.

LaMontae D. Westley, of the 700 block of West Mulberry Street, was in jail Friday in lieu of posting $500 on charges of burglary and theft by possession.

Cocaine — A 40-year-old Bloomington woman is accused of selling cocaine and allowing her home to be used for cocaine sales.

Ann M. Danielson, of the 400 block of South Allin Street, was in jail Friday in lieu of $2,500 on charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and permitting the unlawful use of a building.

Marijuana — A man from Normal is accused of selling marijuana to a police source Aug. 1 and Aug. 7.

William P. Yuncker, 23, of the 700 block of Orlando Avenue, was released on a personal recognizance bond Friday on charges of unlawful delivery of marijuana.

Police, fire, rescue

Burglary — Someone stole a laptop computer, a cellular phone and a video game system sometime between 8 a.m. and noon from a home in the 700 block of Golf Crest Road, Normal, police said.

Vehicle burglary — A laptop computer was stolen from a car sometime Thursday morning on Clobertin Court, Bloomington.
