IWU volleyball splits pair

IWU fell to UW-Stevens Point 3-1 before defeating Blackburn 3-0, to finish third in the Titan Fall Classic at Shirk Center.

Emily Hagen finished with 12 kills to lead the Titans (4-4) against Stevens Point, while Ashley Reed added 19 digs. Katie Butson had 16 kills and 11 digs, while Michele Malinowski had 14 kills and 11 digs.

Butson had a team-high 13 kills and nine figs against Blackburn. Lori Johnson contributed 10 kills, while Jamie Petersen added eight digs.

" I agree, it seems like this year, ISU is getting a ton more coverage than IWU. Why is that?? Our sports section overall has gone downhill. Please give IWU equal ink. This is a great school with great athletes who deserve more coverage. "

I don't care about the enrollment or the NCAA division class or national rankings. Both of these Universities are OUR community. "
