Bloomington-Normal

1. Various streets in uptown Normal are affected by the Marriott hotel project.

1. Beaufort between Broadway and Constitution Trail is closed through late 2008. Beaufort between Fell and Broadway is closed through late 2008.

1. The intersection of Beaufort and Broadway is closed through approximately early 2009. Access to the drive that runs behind Wright’s Printing, Jimmy John’s, etc., is anticipated to remain open.

1. Constitution Trail between Mulberry and the railroad tracks is closed through late 2008.

1. College Avenue in uptown Normal is closed until about Friday.

1. Broadway Avenue between Phoenix Avenue and North Street will be closed to through traffic Aug. 27 until further notice (likely spring 2009) for Marriott and infrastructure improvements.

2. Road construction has started at Dr. Martin Luther King Drive between Market Street and Lake Trail Road. Property remains accessible but construction equipment will be in the area.

3. Brokaw Road will be closed to through traffic for several months from Towanda Barnes Road to Abraham Road for sewer construction. Abraham Road will be closed to through traffic for four to six weeks from Ireland Grove Road to U.S. 150 for sewer construction.

4. The Parkside Road and Hovey Avenue intersection was closed to all traffic Sept. 7. Hovey Avenue also remains closed to through traffic between Park Place and Park Creek Court. Local access on Hovey Avenue between Robert Drive and Park Place is from the east. Local access on Hovey Avenue between Rinney Drive and Park Creek Court will be maintained using Bone Drive. Local access on Hovey Avenue between White Oak Road and Parkside Road will be maintained from the west using White Oak Road. These closures are for pavement patches and replacement and are expected to last two to three weeks.

5. Towanda Avenue between Emerson Street and Jersey Avenue in Bloomington will be closed starting Aug. 1 and for an undetermined time.

6. Interstate 55 will be resurfaced from Interstate 39 at Normal to Veterans Parkway interchange until Nov. 30.

7. U.S. 150 will be resurfaced from Locust to Empire streets, Bloomington, until Saturday.

7. U.S. 51 will be resurfaced from Empire to Locust streets, Bloomington, until Saturday.

8. Bradford Lane between Raab Road and Miles Lane will be closed to through traffic through about Sept. 17 for the widening of Bradford Lane from Raab Road to Alden Lane.

Central Illinois

-- Interstate 74 is reduced to one lane in each direction at the Kickapoo Creek bridge near Downs until further notice. The westbound bridge is being rebuilt until Nov. 30.

-- Danvers/Carlock Road is closed from 5397 E. 2050 North Road to 600 East Road, and 500 East Road from 1950 North Road to 20161 N. 500 East Road until further notice. Danvers/Carlock Road will be closed from North Street in Danvers to the I-74 interchange at Carlock through Oct. 31.

-- PJ Keller Highway at the Lexington Interstate 55 interchange will be under construction through September.

-- U.S. 150 will be resurfaced from the Kickapoo Creek bridge near Downs to North Hemlock Street in LeRoy until Sept. 30.

-- The Carlock weigh station is being rehabilitated on Interstate 74 until November.

-- Interstate 39 will be reduced to one lane on both north- and southbound sides from three miles south of Illinois 116 to one mile north of Illinois 116 for patching and overlay until May 2008.
