49-year-old Bloomington man arrested in child porn case

BLOOMINGTON — A 49-year-old Bloomington man was arrested Wednesday on accusations he possessed child pornography.

The man was arrested after a tip led to a search of the man’s South Oak Street home, where detectives found numerous lewd pictures and seized a computer, police said. Bloomington Police spokesman Duane Moss declined to comment further on the arrest.

A jail employee said the man is scheduled to appear in court today.
