BLOOMINGTON — A 20-year-old Bloomington woman was acquitted Tuesday of illegally carrying a revolver in January.

Deanna M. Brown, of the 1800 block of West Olive Street, had been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Her attorney, Terry Dodds, said Brown was one of four adults in a vehicle when the gun was found, and there was no fingerprint evidence tying her to the gun.

" Apparently you missed the part of the article where it says her fingerprints were not tied to the gun. If a man's prints weren't either, he would not have been convicted either. "
