Records: Lexington 3-0, 3-0 in Heart of Illinois Conference; Flanagan-Woodland 3-0, 3-0
Radio: WTRX-FM (93.7)
FYI: Lexington is ranked No. 8 in Class 1A and has the Pantagraph area’s top scorer in T.J. Stinde (57 points). Flanagan-Woodland counters with the area’s leading rusher in Aaron Willis (653 yards). The winner will be the only team with a 4-0 HOI record. Fieldcrest and Ridgeview have 2-0 HOI marks.
Mahomet-Seymour vs. Rochester
Time: 7:45 p.m. today
Place: Rochester High School
Records: Mahomet-Seymour 3-0, 2-0 in Corn Belt Conference; Rochester 3-0, 3-0 in Corn Belt
FYI: This is a battle of state-ranked teams, with Rochester No. 5 and Mahomet-Seymour No. 6 in Class 4A. Mahomet-Seymour has outscored opponents 138-14 behind Andrew Brewer’s 375 yards rushing and nine TDs. Rochester is led by senior quarterback Will Lunt.
