" I was at the Lexington game and Flannigan looks like a decent team but have they played anyone their size yet? Fieldcrest could be a challenge. "

" BHS kick the butts of an 0-4 team that has scored 6 points in 4 games. Pontiac in the Big 12...they would be by far the smallest school (925 students) and would probably finish 3-6 every year. "

Cornbelt is weak wrote on Sep 15, 2007 9:12 AM:

" Pontiac is Weak. They cherry pick in the weak cornbelt conference and they cant even beat a solid 4a team. They barley beat a weak U-High team. Step it up Pontiac and jump into the Big 12. The best downstate conference. See what a real HS Football conference is like. I'll bet Pontiac wouldnt even go 5-4 in the Big 12. Big 12 has had a conferenve rep. in the last 5 State playoff games in class 6a. I'm tired of Pontiac fans writing in on here saying there better than NCHS or BHS. Quit talking smack and bring it. "

" What A great game in Pontiac with the Pontiac Indians coming from behind in the 4th. quarter to win it 13 10. We have to give U-Hight credit they played a good game and have some outstanding hard hitting linebackers and other kids on there team. #8 looked really good is he a jr.? "

" I assume that when you said that the HOI is weak, you were speaking top to bottom? There is no doubt that the HOI has at least 4 teams that could go awhile in the 1A and 2A playoffs. Of the 13 teams there are possibly a few of them that should get wins in the first round of playoffs. Yes the Falcons will be one of them! Fieldcrest however could be the class of the HOI this season. "

Go Falcons wrote on Sep 14, 2007 9:25 PM:

" I know that the Heart of Illinois conference is weak, but Flanagan is whopping teams. I think the Falcons should be ranked after beating the number 8th rank Lexington. 39.5 points per game and a defense that is holding teams to 9.0 points per game. Go Falcons!!!!!!! "
