Soccer
U High nets tie
with Sacred Heart-Griffin
University High School and Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin battled to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday in nonconference boys soccer action at Springfield.
Clint Vatterrodt scored for the Pioneers (13-2-5) in the first half off an assist from Zach Wall. Sacred Heart-Griffin’s goal, by Triveni Singh, also came in the first half.
Volleyball
Dwight wins at home
Carly Perschnick had 13 kills as Dwight posted a 25-7, 25-15 nonconference win over visiting Tri-Point.
Chaney Tambling added 12 service points for Dwight (21-5-2). Brooke Conkling’s five assists led Tri-Point.
