Sugarland to headline CMT Tour in Peoria
PEORIA -- The country music caravan, “CMT on Tour,” will make a stop at the Peoria Civic Center Arena in Peoria at 8 p.m. Nov. 30. Headliners for this year’s tour are Sugarland, with supporting acts Little Big Town and Jake Owen. Tickets are $34.50 and $39.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 at the Civic Center box office and area Ticketmaster outlets. Sugarland hit the country music scene in 2004 with their platinum-selling album, “Twice the Speed of Life,” which produced the singles “Baby Girl” and “Something More.” Their current album, “Enjoy the Ride,” has already produced two No. 1 hits, “Want To” and Settlin’.” Little Big Town’s debut CD, “The Road to Here,” also has reached platinum status. The band was named the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Vocal Group this year. Jake Owen’s debut album, “Startin’ With Me,” released last year, produced the Top 15 hit, “Yee Haw” and the current Top 10 single, “Startin’ With Me.” |
