McLEAN COUNTY DUIs



BLOOMINGTON — The following people have been sentenced in McLean County Circuit Court for driving under the influence. Unless otherwise noted, the offenses involved alcohol.

David E. Mosson, 57, LeRoy, fined $1,000, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge; and sentenced to a concurrent two years of conditional discharge and 10 days in jail, stayed pending hearing, for resisting a peace officer. Must complete recommended treatment and 100 hours of community service.

Christopher S. Bishop, 35, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge. Must complete recommended treatment.

David L. Pauley, 60, Decatur, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge; and conviction for no valid driver’s license. Must complete recommended treatment.

Karen E. Wilburn, 24, 1400 block of West Walnut Street, Bloomington, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge and 10 days in jail, stayed pending hearing; and conviction for driving while driver’s license suspended. Must complete recommended treatment and 100 hours of community service.

Jose Quecholt, 29, 1300 block of North Hershey Road, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge and 30 days in jail, stayed pending hearing; sentenced to six months of court supervision for operating an uninsured motor vehicle; and convictions for no valid driver’s license and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Must complete recommended treatment and 100 hours of community service.

Jack J. Sakers, 29, 400 block of Greenbriar Drive, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of conditional discharge for driving under the influence of drugs. Must complete recommended treatment.

Jessica D. Beckman, 24, 1200 block of Wall Street, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision; and conviction for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Recommended treatment completed.

Jennifer L. Horn, 26, Smokey Court, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision for driving under the influence of alcohol. Must complete recommended treatment.

Thomas J. Mullins, 19, rural Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Recommended treatment completed.

Nicholas E. Lavorato, 28, Champaign, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision for driving under the influence of alcohol; and conviction for driving wrong way on one way street. Must complete recommended treatment.

Chad K. Little, 21, Deer Park, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Keona L. Hamilton, 22, 1000 block of West Grove Street, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision for driving under the influence of any amount of drugs. Must complete recommended treatment.

Oscar J. Thompson, 48, address given as a Bloomington post office box, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Glen Amos, 57, 1900 block of Tracy Drive, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Jeremy A. McCarty, 29, 800 block of Seventh Street, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Recommended treatment completed.

Nicole P. Faust, 21, New York City, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision; and conviction for disobeyed traffic signal. Recommended treatment completed.

Brandon J. Kersey, 22, Downers Grove, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Amanda N. Isaacs, 21, Farmer City, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision for driving under the influence of drugs. Must complete recommended treatment.

Nashaun T. Howard, 34, 700 block of West Orlando Avenue, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision; and conviction for speeding. Must complete recommended treatment.

Joshua J. Frantz, 24, Towanda, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision; and conviction for improper lane usage. Recommended treatment completed.

Casey J. Augspurger, 27, 600 block of Orlando Avenue, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Recommended treatment completed.

Christopher A. Roth, 19, 2900 block of South Fork Road, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to two years of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Chase S. Lauer, 21, 2200 block of Ladue Lane, Bloomington, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to 18 months of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

Margaret C. Miller, 20, 400 block of East College Avenue, Normal, fined $600, DUI fine of $500 and sentenced to 18 months of court supervision. Must complete recommended treatment.

" Um... if 40 somethings are getting their second DUIs, and the younger crowd is the ones getting their 1st DUIs, don't you think that means the younger generation will be getting their second later in life? The younger generations aren't getting smarter... and I'm in that generation. I see what young adults do. They don't get it. No one gets it. People just keep driving no matter how much they drink. "

" As recently as 7 years ago, I would see a lot of people in their 40s being sentenced for multiple DUI offenses. It's nice to see that the majority of DUIs are going to the younger set. It gives me hope that those folks of my generation (40-something) are finally getting the message. Good to catch them while they're young. "
