Thunder tripped in final tuneup

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon’s Robin Bouchard scored two goals in the third period to break a 2-2 tie and give the Fury a 4-2 exhibition victory over the Bloomington PrairieThunder on Saturday night at L.C. Walker Arena.
The two teams traded goals through two periods, with Don Parsons tying it at 1-1 for Bloomington. Sam Miller converted on the Bloomington power play to make it 2-2 at 18:47 of the second period.
Bloomington was outshot 31-25 and had just six shots on net in the third period.
The Thunder, which rallied for a win at Fort Wayne on Wednesday, split its two exhibition games. Bloomington opens the season Saturday at Flint.
Derek Dolson got the started in net for the Thunder and stopped 15 of 17 shots. He gave way about midway through the game to Gasper Kroselj, who made 12 saves against 14 shots.
