Liquor commission OKs two licenses

Meeting: Liquor commission

When: Oct. 10

Key action: Recommended the City Council issue a restaurant liquor license for Noodles & Co., 305 N. Veterans Parkway, Suite 105, to allow the sale of beer and wine by the glass, seven days a week.

Other action: Recommended the council issue a restaurant liquor license for Chipotle Mexican Grill, 305 N. Veterans Parkway, Suite 101, to allow the sale of all types of alcohol by the glass, seven days a week.

City buys police dog, risers for Coliseum

Meeting:
City Council

When: Oct. 8

Key action: Purchased a new dog for the Bloomington Police Department for $8,500, replacing a police dog that is retiring.

Other action: Purchased seat risers and penalty boxes for the U.S. Cellular Coliseum hockey set-up for $15, 809.

Next meeting: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22
