PONTIAC — Firefighters continue to investigate a fire that damaged a Pontiac mobile home, but they said it does not appear to be suspicious.

No one was injured.
Runyon said the fired damaged the underside wiring, flooring and insulation of the mobile home. Damage to the interior was minimal, he said.
Firefighters continued to inspect the scene until 11:20 p.m., and during that hour several residents came out to see them in action. A few people who live close to the mobile home said they heard what sounded like two small explosions, followed by the smell of smoke.
“I was trying to sleep when all of the sudden I saw the lights and heard the sirens,” said Carla Davis, who lives close by.
“When I got home I was able to smell smoke,” said Coni Meints, who lives across the sreet. “Then all of the sudden I heard the sirens.”
