" Mt. Carmel until they give me a reason to doubt them. Lenti has it figured out and weeknesss will be hard to find. They have had a couple big names to come out of there (Simeon Rice and McNabb) but overall with all the recruiting grief they take do not produce a lot of D1 players. I guess it is a different group of kids and parents. If Mom and Dad are going to put out that much $ Jr. will be fully dedicated. Which Naperville are you taking? Record a side Lincoln Way East will be tough in the south. "

" " you say"Bloomington(better be easy They struggles with Springfield High)" Please explain yourself. BHS didnt play Springfield. Central Catholic did. " Let me explain Big time Bloomington High School is playing a team that struggled in a win against Springfield High 28-14. Little Central Catholic Beat Springfield by 24 points. Just saying that this better be easy, take from it what you will. "

" Great! Nice to know there is someone that follows HS football. I think the first rounds are easy in the big schools, but the upsets always come in the second round of the small school pairings and third round of the big schools. I think Flanagan can create some noise in 2A, but if their is a local sleeper it might be EPG, they have gotten better every week. The best match up will be when JC comes to NCHS. Think Metamora and Addison Driscoll are for sures to get to the turf. Maroa will be hard pressed to repeat. Look out for Geneseo and St. Joe looks very good in 3A. Who do you pick to win the 8A....Naperville? "

" Finally a little football action. I like NCHS(easy), Bloomington(better be easy They struggles with Springfield High), JCA(Sorry tough draw still pullin' for West), Woodruff, Pontiac, QND over Mahomet,QND lost to Richwoods 8-1 (Washington 2years in a row?) and 7-2 Geneseo 31-24 (Moline and hard hitting Sterling) just because we are different on this one, Central Catholic, Westville,Forreston (never of them but they went 2 rounds last year?Fieldcrest, I agree wit the rest you got me on the small schools not a knock on them I am sorry I do not follow. How about these: Metamora over Champ. Central Washington over Morton Mattoon over Highland Rochester over anna j. Not sure if they have seen pasing attack like they will. Dunlap over Mt. Zion Alleman over IVC Watch out for the Bone Providence over SHG Prov. 5-4 means nothing in that conference they lost to Mt. Carmel, LW East St. Rita and Brother Rice, I think they are ready for the playoffs. Griffin played 5 schools with below .500 records, their loss was a tough game with Montini. Tried to grab a few that were not too far away. Thanks for talking football on here "
