Titan volleyball player, Katie Butson, honored by CCIW

NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan volleyball player Katie Butson was named Tuesday as the volleyball player of the week by the College Conference od Illinois and Wisconsin.

Butson, a sophomore outside hitter Christian High School in Troy, Ohio, averaged 5.38 kills and 4.38 digs in eight games and a split of a pair of matches.

She shared the honor with Millikin’s Jessica LeClaire.
