HS regional volleyball preview
A brief of area volleyball regionals
Sites: 11 area teams are at seven regionals in 1A; eight are at five regionals in 2A; seven are at four regionals in 3A; one is at a 4A regional (see Scoreboard for pairings).
When: Today, Thursday and Saturday
Area No. 1 seeds: Dwight (1A), Deer Creek-Mackinaw (1A), El Paso-Gridley (2A), Central Catholic (2A), Bloomington (3A), Lincoln (3A), Normal Community (4A).
Projected 1A finalists based on seedings: No. 1 Dee-Mack vs. No. 4 Hartsburg-Emden at Hartsburg; No. 2 Lexington vs. No. 3 Tri-Valley at Colfax; No. 2 Mount Pulaski vs. No. 3 Warrensburg-Latham at Argenta; No. 1 Dwight vs. No. 4 Donovan at St. Anne; No. 2 Illini Central vs. No. 4 Mendon Unity at Greenview; No. 2 Lowpoint-Washburn vs. No. 3 Woodland at South Streator; No. 1 Decatur Lutheran vs. No. 4 Danville Schlarman at Armstrong.
