Janonis named diver of week
Illinois State senior Katie Janonis has been named the first Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week for this season.
Janonis, who won the 1-meter competition at Northern Iowa on Oct. 6, had season-bests on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at Lindenwood University last weekend, finishing first in both.
She earned the award once last season. ISU faces Evansville at 6 p.m. today at Horton Pool.
