Sales manager

MINIER — Greg Fonger has been named district sales manager for the South-Central Illinois region of the Pfister Hybrid Corn Co.

Fonger is a certified crop adviser and has been in the agriculture industry for nine years.

He received a degree in agricultural business from Illinois State University.

Fonger and his wife, Molly, reside in Minier.

Employee honor

BLOOMINGTON — Georgene Naylor, events coordinator for the Bloomington-Normal Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, was recently recognized as the regional winner of the Administrative Employee of the Year award at the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association’s 10th Annual Regional Stars of the Industry Luncheon.

Naylor received this award in recognition of her job performance.

There are eight categories of awards given including housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, food & beverage, bell services, administrative services, manager of the year and hotelier of the year.

Northern Trust

BLOOMINGTON — Rick Wills of Naperville, formerly of Bloomington, has been promoted to managing director of Northern Trust’s Naperville Financial Center.

Wills is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company’s business in Naperville and Wheaton, where Wills and his team provide financial services to business owners, corporate executives, families and individuals.

Wills joined the company in 1994, and was most recently responsible for the company’s Global Fund Services business serving insurance, investment manager and fund clients. Prior to that position, Wills was managing director of Northern Trust Ireland, the Dublin-based, fund services arm of Northern Trust.
