Santa makes plans for visits in Downs

DOWNS -- Santa arrives in Downs on Dec. 1, the same day the crafts-filled Gingerbread House opens in Dooley Park as part of the Forest of Lights.

The Gingerbread House will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. Santa will be there from about 6:15 to 9 p.m. the same days.

The annual violin concert will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 22 and will feature The Danley Strings for the seventh year.
